Interiors That Feel Like Home
Since 2018, I’ve been working full-time in the design world, specializing in residential interiors that balance beauty, comfort, and functionality. As an in-home design consultant for U-Fab Interiors and a design assistant for a local, full-service firm, my experience spans a variety of living spaces, from small apartments to forever homes. I’ve helped countless clients transform their spaces into places they’re proud to live in. But I know that creating a home you love can feel overwhelming—especially when you’re not sure where to start or how to best focus your efforts. That’s where I come in.
The struggle is REAL
You’ve made design decisions you regret and now hesitate to make another big mistake.
You have a growing list of home projects but feel completely overwhelmed about where to begin.
You’ve browsed stores and websites for hours but can’t seem to find the right pieces that fit your style and budget.
You don’t even know what your style is.
Your life is busy, and dedicating time to designing your space feels like an impossible task.
We get it. You want a home that is beautiful, welcoming, and functional, but getting there on your own is harder than it looks. Maybe you’ve experienced some of this:
I understand these struggles, because I’ve been there. That’s why I offer design services that meet you where you are—whether you need help with one decision, one room, or your entire home. My goal is to help you make smart, lasting choices that bring your vision to life and give you a home you can truly enjoy.
My Design Story — From Institutional Fundraising to Creative Passion
Before becoming an interior designer, I spent years in the education world. First in admissions at St. Anne’s-Belfield School, then in Major Gift Fundraising at the University of Virginia. I was balancing a demanding career with trying to create a home that felt like me—but it wasn’t easy. I’ve been in your shoes, trying to find the right sofa, second-guessing paint colors, and feeling overwhelmed by all the options. At times, I felt like I didn’t have the time or energy to pull everything together, and I made plenty of mistakes along the way.
It was during this time that I realized how much I loved the process of design, even with all its challenges. I wanted to help others avoid the trial-and-error frustration that I went through. That’s when I decided to turn my passion into a career and use my experiences to help people like you, who want a beautiful home but need support to get there.
At Kai'li Millner Interiors, my mission is simple: to help busy people like you create a home that’s not only beautiful but practical and personal—one that works for your life. Let’s work together to bring your vision to life, and make your home the inviting, comfortable place you’ve always dreamed of.
